Join us in celebrating the 200th anniversary of the Ohio & Erie Canal, which ran through downtown Newark. This fun, family-friendly event is free and open to the public. There is free parking in several nearby lots.
Our keynote speaker will be Ohio Governor, Mike DeWine.
Other speakers include Newark Mayor Jeff Hall, Heath Mayor Mark Johns, and County Commissioner Tim Bubb.
Enjoy historical exhibits, kids activities, musical performances, costumed reenactors, storytelling, vendors, and a canal boat contest.
