SUMMARY:“Showdown at Sundown” Licking County Outdoor Volleyball Preview
DESCRIPTION:The Newark Catholic High School (NCHS) and Newark High School (
 NHS) volleyball programs will host the “Showdown at Sundown” Licking C
 ounty Volleyball Preview outdoors at White Field on Saturday\, August 15\,
  beginning at 3:30 p.m. The event will feature preview matches between 20 
 teams\, including Bellefontaine\, Circleville\, DeSales\, Gallia Academy\,
  Granville\, Heath\, John Glenn\, Johnstown\, Lakewood\, Lancaster\, Licki
 ng Valley\, Mount Vernon\, New Lexington\, Northridge\, Pickerington Centr
 al\, Pickerington North\, Pleasant\, River View\, Utica\, and Watkins. The
  final preview match of the evening will be between the co-hosts\, Newark 
 and Newark Catholic.\n\nTwo volleyball courts will be set up in the center
  of the football field\, with bleachers set up around the court for studen
 t cheering sections. Both home and visitor stands will also be open. Fans 
 can also bring bag chairs to sit on the turf. Since the event is considere
 d a preview\, each match will consist of two sets to 21. Admission for the
  event will be $5.00\, and children aged five and under will be free. Full
  concessions will be available during the event\, featuring steakburgers\,
  brats\, hot dogs\, walking tacos\, shredded chicken sandwiches\, and more
 .\n\nIn the event of a rainout on August 15\, the event will be held on Au
 gust 16. If it rains to the point that the event cannot be held outside on
  August 16\, the venue will move to Newark High School.
