The Denison Symphony Orchestra, under the direction of Philip Rudd, is excited to present a special concert for Trustee’s Weekend. The concert will feature Denison piano professor Hana Chu, who will perform Rachmaninoff’s Piano Concerto No. 2 on the spectacular Sharon Martin Steinway concert grand piano. Additionally, the orchestra will present the Ohio premiere of Jasmine Barnes’ Before Dawn, and will close the concert with the scintillating Finale movement of Shostakovich’s monumental Symphony No. 5.
