SUMMARY:Licking County FREE Paper Shredding and Electronics Recycling Event
DESCRIPTION:The Licking County Recycling Department\, in partnership with L
 icking County Records &amp\; Archives\, will host a FREE paper shredding a
 nd electronics recycling event on Saturday\, Sept. 21st\, 2024. The event 
 will be held from 9 a.m.-12 p.m. at the Licking County Highway Department 
 garage complex at 775 E. Main Street in Newark\, near the intersection of 
 East Main Street and O’Bannon Avenue.\n\nLicking County residents are in
 vited to bring personal papers and other documents for shredding\; no docu
 ments will be accepted from businesses. All documents and papers must be s
 ecurely boxed or bagged to ensure privacy and security (please do not tape
  boxes shut). There is an eight-box limit per vehicle. Shredding of paper 
 materials will take place offsite at a secure location by a certified shre
 dding company.\n\nElectronics collection for the event will be handled by 
 T.D.R. of Pataskala. Most electronic items will be accepted for free\, wit
 h the exception of TV’s ($1 per diagonal inch)\, and monitors ($5 if the
 y are without a PC). Cash\, check\, or credit card will be accepted. No VC
 R tapes\, lightbulbs\, or appliances will be accepted. Please contact T.D.
