DESCRIPTION:The Visual Arts Program presents an opening reception for a Fin
 al Senior Art Show: “It Was Never Just Then.”\n\nA wide range of work 
 will be presented in the exhibition\, including painting\, fiber and texti
 le work\, installation\, printmaking\, and digital media. Drawing from per
 sonal experience\, cultural heritage\, memory\, identity\, and the spaces 
 we inhabit\, the artists explore themes such as home and domestic life\, f
 olklore and tradition\, community and belonging\, perception and psycholog
 y\, and imagined or constructed worlds.\n\nThe Senior Visual Arts Exhibiti
 on celebrates the culminating work of graduating majors\, showcasing a div
 erse range of projects developed over the course of their time in the Visu
 al Arts program. This exhibition highlights each student’s unique voice\
 , creative inquiry\, and technical growth across disciplines.\n\nJoin us f
 or the opening reception on Friday\, April 24 from 4:30 p.m. to 6 p.m. at 
 the Denison Museum of Art\, and experience this exciting moment of transit
 ion as these emerging artists present their work to the public. The exhibi
 tion will remain on view through May 15.
