Living Hope Community Church, located at 8135 Mount Vernon Road in Saint Louisville, is inviting families from across Licking County and beyond to enjoy an afternoon of free food, fellowship, and fall fun during its Second Annual Community Fall Festival on Sunday, October 11, from 4 to 7 p.m.
Hosted by Living Hope Community Church and co-sponsored this year by the Mental Health & Recovery for Licking and Knox Counties, the festival is completely free to attend. Admission, activities, and food are all provided at no cost as a way of giving back to the community and creating a place where neighbors can gather, connect, and make lasting memories.
The Mental Health & Recovery for Licking and Knox Counties works to improve the quality of life for individuals and families by using recovery and resiliency-based approaches while helping reduce the impact of mental illness, substance use, and addiction throughout Licking and Knox counties. The partnership reflects a shared commitment to strengthening families, supporting mental wellness, and building healthier communities.
The church is located in the heart of Licking County, just five minutes from Utica, ten minutes from Newark, and about twenty minutes from Granville, making it an easy destination for families throughout the region.
This year’s festival will feature something for every age, including games, live music, hayrides, barrel rides, a cake walk, a pie-eating contest, a giant inflatable slide, an obstacle course, and many other family-friendly activities throughout the evening.
Guests can also enjoy a wide variety of free food, including hot dogs, a nacho bar, chili, caramel apples, cotton candy, desserts, and other fall favorites.
“Last year’s Fall Festival was such an encouragement to our church,” said Rev. Jon Earls, pastor of Living Hope Community Church. “It gave us the opportunity to meet many new families, build new friendships, and welcome several of those families into our church in the months that followed. That’s our heart behind this event. We want to bless our community, create a place where families can enjoy time together, and let every person who comes know that they are loved by God and always welcome at Living Hope.”
Living Hope Community Church was established in July 2024 and is led by Rev. Jon Earls, who previously served as pastor of Tarrant Bible Methodist Church in Birmingham, Alabama, for 14 years and Bible Methodist Church in Cordele, Georgia, for eight years. He is passionate about helping people discover lasting hope through Christ and is the author of Sermons on THE Sermon: Studies on the Sermon on the Mount.
The church continues to grow as a place where people can experience biblical teaching, authentic relationships, and genuine community. Its mission is to share the hope found in Jesus Christ while creating an environment where every person feels seen, encouraged, and cared for.
Living Hope Community Church welcomes everyone to Sunday morning worship at 10 a.m. and Wednesday evening Prayer and Praise services at 7 p.m.
