October is Domestic Violence Awareness Month. Please join us for a candlelight vigil as we honor the lives lost to domestic violence across Ohio over the past year. This meaningful event will be held at the Waters Edge Community center in Buckeye Lake, now a resource center for victims and survivors of Domestic Violence. The names of those who have tragically lost their lives will be displayed, and their names will be read aloud during the ceremony, each accompanied by a bell toll, followed by a moment of silence to honor their memory.
This vigil is an opportunity for the community to raise awareness, support one another, and access essential resources. Waters Edge will have free resources available in its new resource center for victims and survivors. Free hot chocolate and parking will also be provided. Everyone is welcome to attend as we stand together in solidarity with victims, survivors, and their families.
