Children can’t always speak up. But we can.
Join the detectives and prosecutors of Licking County’s Child Abuse and Sexual Exploitation (C.A.S.E.) Task Force for a free evening of straight talk about keeping kids safe.
You’ll hear directly from the people who work these cases every day. They’ll walk you through the apps kids are using right now, the warning signs to watch for, and how to start the conversation at home. You’ll also learn about the local resources ready to help, and who to call when something doesn’t feel right.
Parents, grandparents, teachers, coaches, neighbors: if there’s a child in your life, this night is for you.
Admission is free. Please register to reserve your seat. This event is for adults 18 and older because of the subject matter. Register at the Midlandtheatre.org
Hosted by the Citizens Academy Alumni Association of the Licking County Sheriff’s Office, in partnership with the Newark Police Department, Heath Police Department, Licking County Prosecutor’s Office, and many other community organizations.
