On March 10, 2026 7pm-8pm: America 250-Ohio-Granville That’s Entertainment! Celebrating Entertainment through the years – Music, Theater and all that Entertains. History of the Denison Arts Quad Talk with Marla Krak. Granville was founded in 1805. Denison University was founded in 1831. Denison’s Arts is an integral part of Granville. In 1897 the Thresher Conservatory of Music opened. In 1898: A Recital Hall is added to Thresher Hall. Today, Denison has the Michael D. Eisner Center for the Performing Arts, which opened in 2019, housing Music, Theatre, Dance, Music Theatre, and the Denison Museum.

This Signature program is also part of the AM250-OH Granville’s Historical Adventure PassBooklet Challenge Program which rewards the first 250 people to attend & complete 6 of the Monthly Challenges Questions between January 2026 – December 2026 with an America250-Ohio historical commemorative keepsake.
