The NGSO Celebrates AMERICA 250 with our Season Finale celebrating American composers with a diverse program. The concert will feature George Gershwin’s Piano Concerto in F Major, performed by internationally acclaimed pianist Dr. Caroline Hong. The NGSO will also highlight contemporary music with the world premiere of Un baiser, composed by Newark’s own composer Ben Shirley, featuring vocal soloist Shawna Corder. The program concludes with Dvořák’s Symphony No. 8, a joyful and lyrical tribute to nature and folk heritage, a perfect finale for a season grounded in discovery and connection.
